Our Commitment to Florida's Economy

The Max Planck Florida Institute is expected to support the creation of more than 1,800 jobs – both directly and indirectly – in Palm Beach County over the next two decades and generate more than $2 billion in economic activity. The Max Planck Florida Institute will directly create a minimum of 135 new jobs in Palm Beach County in its first seven years of operation (by June 2016).

Except for professional scientific staff positions requiring a doctoral degree, postdoctoral training positions, and graduate student positions, the Max Planck Florida Institute will develop and implement hiring policies that will grant Palm Beach County residents preference in the hiring process. The Max Planck Florida Institute is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, race, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation, and values and supports diversity in the workplace.
