Max Planck Florida Institute's Neuroscience Discovery Day will offer those who attend the opportunity to not only tour our new facility, but to also hear directly from Max Planck Florida Institute scientists about the exciting research being conducted in their labs. For those who prefer a hands-on experience, an abundance of interactive activities will be available for both children and adults. Here is a preview of some of the activies taking place:
Neuroscience Discovery Day is also an educational day that provides the residents of Palm Beach County an inside look into how our brains function through fun and interactive activities. Events include exhibitions on the brain for people of all ages, neuroscience poster displays and artistic creations by high school students, lectures on brain related topics, classroom activities, a Careers in Science panel discussion, and more.
Art, Food and Fun collide at Max Planck Florida Institute's Neuroscience Discovery Day! Come out and enjoy interactive activities for children and adults! There will be "neuron" face painting, compliments of Latte Fun, Balloon games, hands on exhibits and much more. For the artsy, scientists and just plain interested, we have on display the Images of Science exhibit. Be sure to stop by and be mesmerized by some of the amazing photos!
