Postdoc Candidate Seminar
For many cellular behaviors, it is essential that protein signaling is precisely coordinated in space and time. Such spatiotemporal dynamics can only be fully understood using tools that visualize and manipulate protein behavior in living cells. I will present our recent genetically encoded tools for light or ligand mediated control of protein activity. I will also discuss how we employed these molecular tools to interrogate the cytoskeletal signaling that includes Src family kinases, Rho family guanine exchange factors, and small GTPases in vivo.
