Dr. Claudia Hillinger, Vice President for Institute Development, was recently honored as a 2010 Influential Business Woman by the South Florida Business Journal. The luncheon event, held at the Hyatt Pier 66 in Ft. Lauderdale, honored 25 women who are blazing trails, setting the pace and making a difference in the South Florida community. Dr. Hillinger was recognized for her role in establishing the Max Planck Society’s first research institute in the United States. She is also very active in several civic and charitable organizations, including the Florida Research Consortium, BioFlorida, the Quantum House and the Rotary Club of Palm Beach.
