Ways to Create an Endowment

Single Gift or Multi-Year Pledge

A gift or multi-year pledge can be used to fund your endowment and will allow your legacy to impact our community during your lifetime.

Life Insurance

You may designate MPFF as the owner and beneficiary of an existing or new life insurance policy. In the event of your passing, MPFF will claim the policy and use the proceeds to support the endowment.

Bequests made through a will, trust or retirement account is a convenient way to create an endowment. The MPFF team will happy to work with you and your adviser to form a plan that aligns with your priorities and interests.

Life income gift

Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Remainder Trusts are popular because they provide immediate tax deductions while providing lifetime income for beneficiaries. After the final beneficiary has passed, the remaining funds in the annuity or trust is added to the endowment.
